| Correa Is Making Our Community Safer |
| Lou’s efforts expanding DNA use keeps violent
criminals off our streets, while protecting the innocent.
Lou helped create the “Amber Alert” system
to return missing children, and he brought home state
funds to fight crime, drugs and gangs and make our community
safer. |
| No One Works Harder for Kids and Education |
| Lou fought for smaller class sizes, more college scholarships,
school facility improvements, and programs to recruit
and retain top-quality teachers for local schools. He
brought home millions of dollars to expand after-school
programs, improve parks, and upgrade recreation programs
and equipment. |
| Lou Protects Seniors |
| Protecting seniors and people with disabilities is a
top priority. Lou wrote a law providing tax credits for
people who stay home to care for family members with a
disability or long-term illness. |
| Fighting for Quality, Affordable Health Care |
| Lou increased access to community health clinics and
was a leader in the fight for health care reform, the
Patients’ Bill of Rights, and providing health care
for Orange County kids. |
