CORREA CLINCHES SUPPORT FROM LARGEST STATEWIDE LABOR GROUP

Statewide Organization Representing Hardworking Men and Women Stands in Solidarity with Lou Correa for Congress

SANTA ANA, CA -- Continuing to be the voice of working families and champion of workers rights, today former Senator Lou Correa adds the California Labor Federation to his growing endorsement list.  The California Labor Federation represents the voices of over 2.1 million hardworking men and women. The Labor Federation endorsement follows support from United Farm Workers of America and Orange County Labor Federation.

Responding to news of the endorsement, former Senator Lou Correa stated:

“I am honored to have the support of the California Labor Federation. Throughout my career, I have fought for working men and women. Growing up the son of working parents, I understand the difficulties facing many workers today. In Congress, I will work to create livable wage jobs, improve our economy, and expand opportunities for all working families. I look forward to working alongside the California Labor Federation to move California and our nation in the right direction."

Former Senator Correa won sweeping support in the June 7th Primary Election, capturing over 40,880 votes and 43.7% of total votes cast. With a triumphant finish, Correa pulled ahead with three times as many votes as the second place finisher.
