LORETTA SANCHEZ ENDORSES LOU CORREA FOR CONGRESS

SANTA ANA, CA -- Today former State Senator Lou Correa received the endorsement of incumbent Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez in his bid to represent California's 46th Congressional District seat.
 
In making her endorsement of Correa for Congress public, incumbent Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez released the following statement:
 
"Lou has a great record fighting for Orange County's families. Whether it's been his work in the state legislature or on the County Board of Supervisors, he has the proven experience we need right now in Washington. I am proud to endorse Lou Correa for US Congress."

Lou responded, "I'm honored to receive the endorsement of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez for her seat in the US Congress. Since we began serving Orange County together, I have seen firsthand how she works across party lines to best represent the residents of her district. I'll continue to work hard everyday to serve all of my constituents in Washington."

In the June 7th Primary Election, former Senator Correa was the top vote getter, capturing over 40,000 votes and 43.6% of the total votes cast.
