HISPANIC BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE INSTITUTE BACKS CORREA IN CA-46 RACE

Lou Correa is the Top Choice for OC Small Businesses

Santa Ana, CA— Following months of continuous endorsements, the Hispanic Business Roundtable Institute (HBRI) announced their support for former State Senator Lou Correa. HBRI was founded in 2013 and is a 501(c)4 non-partisan, non-profit grassroots organization seeking to advance the principles and values of economic independence and stability for all Americans. HBRI conducts nationally and regionally based programs and studies that result in measurable social, economic and educational opportunities.

In a letter to the campaign announcing the endorsement, the Hispanic Business Roundtable Institute President Hector Barreto wrote:

“Lou Correa has earned the support of HBRI because he shares our vision – for the Hispanic community to consistently experience the best this nation has to offer, not just today but well into the future through economic and educational opportunities as well as quality, affordable healthcare.”

“We appreciate Lou Correa’s respect for the unique opportunities that are available to all Americans through small-business ownership.”

“We look forward to working with all leaders, who share the HBRI’s goals and values, and hope that Lou Correa will be among those serving in 2017 and beyond.”

Upon hearing news of the endorsement, former State Senator Lou Correa released the following statement:

“I am honored to have the support of the Hispanic Business Roundtable Institute. Supporting small business is supporting the middle class. I’ve spent my career working across the aisle to create an environment where small businesses and the communities they serve, thrive and grow together. Here in the 46th District, when we empower individuals to start their own businesses, it lifts up the entire community. I will continue to fight for good paying jobs, an environment conducive to small business growth and development, and a strong local economy. I look forward to having the HBRI by my side.”

In addition to today’s endorsement, Lou Correa has gained widespread support from a variety of labor, environmental, public safety, and business organizations, as well as elected officials and community leaders, including:
